Born on the 11th of October 1942 in Allahabad unto Harivanshrai Bachchan and Teji Bachchan, Amitabh was much like any other child. His parents were both renowned poets of their time who had an academic parentage. As a youngster Amitabh was the last person anyone would think of him becoming the star he is now. However today every kid knows the name of the one and only Amitabh Bachchan and fondly refers to him as the Big B. Prior to his entry into Bollywood he was a freight broker with Shaw and Wallace. Amitabh did his schooling in Sherwood College followed by an Arts degree from the Delhi University.
